Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is one of the most exciting, creative and challenging areas of engineering. Electrical Engineering deals with the practical and creative applications of electrical engineering, technology and other associated disciplines.
Electrical and Electronic engineers have no doubt been the instruments for the evolution of technology by being able to effectively apply and integrate fundamental concepts and knowledge from various related disciplines. They lead in creating new creative ideas and innovations, and designing and developing new technological or engineering products. Our up to date syllabus and industry relevant undergraduate program prepare the students to take the next step in their career.
At VU in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) Department a student will not only learn the theory behind engineering but also get training to look at the practical application of that theory in the laboratory as well as in the practical field.
Students study the fundamentals of electrical engineering including electrical circuits, energy conversions, control theory, power systems, & networks; electronic engineering including electronics, microprocessors; communication engineering which includes communication theory, electromagnetic, signal processing and related fields of engineering and computer engineering. Students learn how to design, construct, and test electrical or electronic devices and systems in their own laboratory.
