Today, March 26th, marks a day of sacrifice and pride for Bengalis. On the occasion of the Great Independence and National Day 2025, the Department of Journalism, Communication, and Media Studies at Barandra University celebrated the day with due solemnity.
The program included hoisting the national flag on the university campus, a rally, laying flowers at the Martyrs' Memorial, commemorating the nation's valiant heroes, and organizing a discussion session on the history of the Liberation War. During the discussion, the courage and sacrifices of the freedom fighters were remembered with profound respect.
On this Independence Day, we reaffirm our commitment to uphold truth and justice, pledging to contribute to the welfare of the nation and society through Barandra University and the Journalism Department.
On the 54th anniversary of our glorious independence, we extend our humble tributes to all martyrs.
