A workshop on “2020 Emerging Communication Technologies and OBE based Teaching-Learning Workshop towards Accreditation” held at the Dept. of EEE, Varendra University on 13th January, 2020. The program was organized by the Department of EEE and IEEE Varendra University student Branch at the Engineering Building, Room No. 102, Talaimari, Rajshahi.
The keynote speakers of the event were Dr. Nurul I. Sarkar, Associate Professor, Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand and Moniruddoza Ashir, Research Associate, Technical University of Dresden, Germany. The Head of the Department Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mandal, the Chair of the program, have successfully conducted the event. The program was delighted by the presence of the Advisor of Varendra University, Professor Dr. M. Saidur Rahman Khan as a Chief Guest and Vice-Chancellor Dr. M. Osman Gani Talukder as Special Guest. Other faculty members and students of the Department of EEE were also present at the workshop. On the first half of the workshop Professor Sarker talked on Internet of Things (IoT) as well as Autonomous Driverless Car and Mr. Moniruddoza talked on scholarship Opportunities in Germany. After lunch, Professor Sarker from New Zealand delivered his talk on OBE based Teaching Learning towards Accreditation for faculty members. Finally chair of the program have concluded the program with token of appreciation to the speakers.
