On 18th May, 2023, 2nd Alumni Association Executive Committee of Dept of Pharmacy, VU organized a get-together at the pharmacy department.
Alumni from the pharmacy department gathered along with faculty members and introduced themselves to the current students.
The purpose of this interaction was to foster connections and provide insights into the alumni's experiences in the field. Following the introductions, a seminar was conducted on "Cue to develpe career in pharmaceutical industries. The main speaker for this seminar was Md. Bokhtear Sarkar, President, 2nd Alumni Association Executive Committee, who shared valuable knowledge and advice. The seminar was chaired by Coordinator of pharmacy department Prof. Dr. Tarannum Naz.
After the seminar, a Q&A session was held, allowing the alumni to address any queries the current students had. Later in the day, all the alumni and current students visited the main campus.
In the evening, a friendly cricket match took place between the alumni and current students. However, the current students emerged victorious in the match. Coordianator of pharmacy department Prof. Dr. Tarannum Naz expressed her gratitude to everyone for their participation and support throughout the event.
To recognize the efforts and achievements of the teams, prizes were awarded to the winners and runners-up. The ceremony concluded with Coordinator Prof. Dr. Tarannum Naz and all the committee members thanking everyone for their attendance and participation in the event.
