On 24th August, 2023 - Department of Pharmacy, Varendra University paid homage to National Mourning Day by organizing an impactful day-long health awareness program.

The program featured a range of health-related activities, including blood group tests and blood pressure checks, which were conducted by the diligent students of the Pharmacy Department. The active participation of these students highlighted their commitment to public health and wellbeing.
Esteemed dignitaries present at the event included Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ananda Kumar Saha, Registrar Suranjit Mondol, and Coordinator of the Department of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Tarannum Naz, alongside other honorable faculty members.
The event commenced with insightful speeches by the Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor and the Registrar, who also inaugurated the program.
One of the key highlights of the event was the distribution of informative leaflets addressing dengue awareness. These leaflets were distributed among students, faculty members, and staffs of Varendra University.
