A Student Voluntary organization (Varendra University Business Club) responsibility handover ceremony was held for transferring duties at Talaymari campus on 30th November, 2016. The handover ceremony aimed to officially announce the executive members for the next 8 months and appreciate the recognition to the work of old executive committee.
Present at the ceremony to witness the handover ceremony were Professor Dr. Shaikh Samsul Arafin, Head of the Department and other academicians. They said that Varendra University Business Club serves as a bridge between students and the university.
Beside this, Former moderator of this club lecture, transfers the responsibilities to the newly elected moderator lecturer Atia Ahmed for next 8 months. Professor Dr. Shaikh Samsul Arafin congratulated the previous moderator Mahmuda Sultana along with its old committee and welcomed the new committee for their interests toward the activities of club. He added, “Today’s handover ceremony highlights not only the change in student leadership but also the making of this club popular within the country.
