Business Club of the Department of Business Administration of Varendra University has arranged an “Inter-University Business Plan Competition (IUBPC)-2018” at Business Administration Building (Talaimari-1) on 15th February, 2018. Honorable Professor Dr. M. Sayeedur Rahman Khan (Adviser), along with Prof. Dr. Shaikh Matiur Rahman (Head, Department of Business Administration) inaugurated the ceremony. Professor Dr. M. Sayeedur Rahman Khan (Adviser), as the chief guest was at competition and handed over the prizes among the competitors. A total of 14 teams from different public and private universities in the North Bengal region of the country registered in this Competition. From among them 7 teams competed in the competition.
Team “Dorkar.com” has become the Champion of the competition with its innovative business plan and Team “Curious Mind” has become the 1st Runner up leaving Team “Varendra Dreams” as 2nd Runner up. All these three teams were from the Dept. of Business Administration of Varendra University defeating teams from University of Rajshahi and North Bengal International University.
