Varendra University Business Club (VUBC) has arranged an“International Seminar on Employability and Managerial Skills- Are You Future-Ready” at Kazla campus 15th March 2018. Mr. Debasish Sarkar, Co-founder and Head, Learning & Development, Evolve 360 Learning Solutions, New Delhi, India, was the Key Resource Person of the Seminar.
Mr. Debasish Sarkar is an entrepreneur and L&D specialist. He has been working as an international trainer/coach for 14 years in Learning & Development, Operations and Client Management in Education, Healthcare, Banking & Insurance and Service industry.
Professor Dr. M. Sayeedur Rahman Khan, the Honorable Adviser, Varendra University, attended the seminar as Chief Guest. Honorable Vice Chancellor and Pro-Vice Chancellor were present as Special Guests. The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shaikh Matiur Rahman (Dean Faculty of Business and Law).
The main focus of the seminar was to make the students aware about the Employability Skills and Soft Skills they are going to need and also about how they will be eligible to get a job or to create employment for others. There were about 100 participants; all of them were final year students of Department of Business Administration.
