With a view to give the final year students a practical understanding of power system, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Varendra University arranged an Industrial Visit. As a part of this visit, 45 students of 8th Batch along with several faculty members visited Raj Lanka Power Company Limited at Natore on November 12, 2018.
Raj Lanka Power Company Limited is a Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) based power plant in Natore with the total capacity of 52.2 MW. The principle activity of the company is associated with the generation of electricity. During this visit, students were able to gain experience about the operations and control of power generation, switch gears, protection system, fire hydrant system, and transmission and distribution system of Electrical power.
