A departmental picnic was arranged by the department of EEE on March 9, 2019. The chosen picnic spot was Shopnopuri Artificial Amusement Park situated 5 kilometers to the south in Nawabganj upazilla of Dinajpur.
The picnic group consisted of teachers, students, and other official employees, totaling a number of 160. The picnic was held with extreme enthusiasm. It was a refreshing tour for all escaping from the monotonous day to day life. The day started from the very beginning of the journey by the buses at 6.30 in the morning. Breakfast was provided. Throughout the way, there were lots of fun already. It took almost 5 hours to reach the destination. After getting off the bus, everyone enjoyed different amusing features over the park which helped to overcome the tiredness of the road trip. Then the lunch took place. Students also enjoyed the swimming facility altogether.
After lunch, several games were arranged for both the teachers and the students. The incidents of the games amazed both the participants and the spectators. Everyone enjoyed the day to the fullest, forgetting their complexities in life.
At the end of the day, the award giving ceremony took place. The winners of the different games were provided with attractive prizes. Then the raffle draw took place. The winners of the raffle draw were revealed at the last session of the day and created huge excitement among everyone.
