On the 11th of September, 2019 Dept. of EEE of Varendra University organized Freshers’ reception for the first semester students (batch 22) and gave farewell to the final semester students (batch 10). The event was held in the Engineering Annex Building, Talaimari.
Professor Dr. M. Sayeedur Rahman Khan, the Honorable adviser of Varendra University, was present as the chief guest of the ceremony. The Honorable Vice Chancellor of Varendra University Professor Dr. M. Osman Gani Talukder was the special guest of the program. The students of 11th semester, with the guidance of the teachers worked relentlessly to put together a well-organized and colorful ceremony. At the event, the first semester students were welcomed with flowers as the freshers and the final semester students were accorded with crests as the outgoing students of the department.
The highlight of the day was the chief guest’s & special guest’s deep and touching speech towards the fresh and leaving students. The ceremony concluded with the speech of the Head of the EEE department Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Mondal.
