Varendra University (VU) organized a program celebrating the Victory Day on 16 December. Prof. Hasan Azizul Huq, noted writer attended the event as chief guest. The program was presided over by Prof. Dr. Osman Gani Talukder, Vice-Chancellor of VU, while Advisor of VU Prof. Dr. M. Sayeedur Rahman Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nurul Hossain Choudhury, Convener of Victory day observation committee and Co-ordinator of Socilogy Department Prof. Dr. A H M Mostafizur Rahman attended as special guests.
The program included laying floral in honor of Martyrs, discussion session and cultural program.
