Abstract
Research purpose: The consequence of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) on firm
performance is examined in this study. The study is accomplished through hypothesizing the sequel
of GHRM on organizational consequences. Psychological Wellbeing and Organizational Citizenship
Behavior is theorized to be a mediating factor for this relationship.
Design/methodology/approach: In addition, data was collected from 310 employees in the textile
industry in Bangladesh using questionnaires and then analyzed using Smart PLS.
Findings: The findings indicate a beneficial influence of GHRM on organizational performance. The
research highlights that both Psychological Wellbeing and Organizational Citizenship Behavior exert
a significant effect on the performance outcomes of firms.
Originality/value: These outcomes offer meaningful implications for firms aiming to stimulate the
productiveness of their sustainability strategies. Psychological wellbeing significantly mediated the
relationship between green HRM and firm performance. However, the mediating role of
organizational citizenship behavior was not statistically significant, suggesting its limited
contribution to performance outcomes in this context.
