Varendra University and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia Sign MoU
Under the initiative of the Department of Business Administration, Varendra University and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic cooperation between the two institutions. The MoU signing ceremony was held today at 11:30 AM in the Board Room of Varendra University in a formal and cordial atmosphere.
 
The MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership between Varendra University and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, focusing on academic collaboration, joint research activities, faculty and student exchange programs, curriculum development, and the sharing of academic and cultural experiences at the international level. This partnership is expected to create new opportunities for students and faculty members of both universities to engage in global-standard education and research.
 
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellor of Varendra University, Professor Dr. Md. Khademul Islam Mollah, along with Associate Professor Dr. Norhayati Rafida Abdul Rahim, Deputy Dean (Research & Innovation) of the Faculty of Leadership and Management, USIM.
 
The event was also graced by Associate Professor Dr. Bablu Kumar Dhar from the Business Administration Division of Mahidol University, Thailand, as a special guest. Additionally, Professor Dr. Fayzar Rahman, Treasurer of Varendra University, and Lt. Colonel Mohammad Khaled Bin Yousuf (Retd.), Registrar of Varendra University, were present at the ceremony.
 
Furthermore, the program was attended by the Head of the Department of Business Administration and Dean of the School of Business and Law, Professor Dr. Kaniz Habiba Afrin, and the Coordinator of the Department of Business Administration and Associate Professor, Dr. Rezaul Karim, along with other senior faculty members and officials of the university.
 
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the dignitaries expressed their optimism that this MoU would serve as a foundation for a long-term, effective, and mutually beneficial academic partnership, and emphasized the importance of expanding collaborative educational and research activities between the two universities in the future.
