The Department of English, VU, is delighted to share that the Mentorship Program 2026, organized by the English Language Club, wrapped up with tremendous enthusiasm and participation on 6 May 2026.
The event began with an inspiring inaugural address from Prof. Md. Shahidur Rahman, Head, Department of English, VU. His thoughtful and motivating words offered fresh insights and heartfelt encouragement to our newcomers.
The program was further graced by Abu Zafor Md. Sady, Assistant Professor, Department of English, VU and Counsellor, Office of the Students’ Welfare Affairs, VU, whose valuable guidance and engaging words added depth and direction to the session.
Our newly admitted students stepped into the Senate Hall with curiosity and walked out with confidence, inspiration, and a sense of belonging. The interactive activities, warm guidance, and collaborative engagement made the session both enriching and memorable.
