On 7 December 2024, Department of English, Varendra University organized a graduation completion and MA farewell ceremony at the permanent campus of Varendra University, Bypass Road, Chandrima, Paba, Rajshahi. The department warmly congratulated the students of BA 26th batch and bade farewell to the students of MA 31st batch.

Prof. Dr. Ananda Kumar Saha, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor (In Charge) attended the program as the Chief Guest.

Prof. Dr. Md. Faizar Rahman, Treasurer and Suranjit Mondal, Registrar were also present as the Special Guests. The program was chaired by Prof. Md. Shahidur Rahman, Head, Department of English, Varendra University.

The program commenced with the recitation from the Holy Quran at 11:00 am. The honourable guests made speeches and provided valuable advice and future guidelines to the students. The concerned batches of students received crests from the guests.
