Abstract
Digital Entrepreneurship’ is at present a buzzword to the people of all classes. Digital entrepreneurship is viewed as a
key component of the COVID situation's challenges, and it has gradually assimilated into the fabric of business in developing
nations. This study aims to determine the main factors influencing students’ career intention on digital business (Start-up) in
Bangladesh by considering several factors such as E-Platform Advantages, Personal quality, support for digital entrepreneurship
from educational institution, family and govt. and social factors. This study is quantitative in nature, and a survey questionnaire is
used based on the Previous Studies. This quantitative study was conducted through distribution of offline survey questionnaires
which involving 282 participants from Varendra University located in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. The respondents were determined
based on simple random sampling technique. SPSS version 22 was applied to conduct different tests such as Validity, reliability
test, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and factor analysis. The result showed that students were highly intended to become
digital entrepreneur. The correlation analysis reveals that there exists a positive relationship between e-platform advantages and
student’s career intension to be a digital entrepreneur and a negative relationship among three other independent variables and
dependent variables though both the relationships are not strong enough which is not a good sign of the study. The interrelationship among all the independent variables separately is quite satisfactory. The factor analysis represents the third dimension
(Support for digital entrepreneurship) as the most influential factor.
